General Objective:
To provide front line support for lottery client remote sites.
To deliver CBN Lottery Group products and to support clients and their staff, including configuration, installation, training, documentation and maintenance.
Create and add new ideas and functions to increase efficiency within the department
Position Purpose:
Provide clients with immediate technical and operational support
Configure, install, support and administer internal and client networks
Document procedures and services
Work in a team environment to decrease problem possibilities and to increase user friendliness in current and future systems.
Responsibilities: Duties, and Tasks:
Install, configure and support proprietary and non-proprietary software and hardware.
Train client personnel on applications, systems operation, proprietary equipment repair, and system troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot client daily requests.
On-call 24/7 support on scheduled intervals.
Support system administration for client networks .
Document client configurations, installations, upgrades and training.
Learn new methods, software and study new product possibilities.
Improve or automate current functions and procedures including call tracking applications.
Qualifications:
1-3 years experience providing a high level of technical support to clients (in person and remotely)
Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure with client satisfaction in mind at all times.
Knowledge of Tomcat, Linux, Windows, Scripting languages, PHP, Apache & SQL desirable
University degree or College diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to grasp undocumented technical functions.
WAN and LAN networking experience with TCP/IP and VPN.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. A knowledge of Spanish is desirable
Willingness and ability to travel abroad for extended periods of time.
Available for on-call 24/7 weekly intervals
Excellent problem solving abilities
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Personable and social.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level 2 Security Clearance.
